Rigorous testing and validation

We’ll work with you to create a comprehensive quality control and validation system. Our testing facilities ensure the correct products are specified and supplied to meet the long-term functionality of any given bonding requirements. As industries develop and bonded components and structures change, we conduct ongoing and comprehensive tests for durability and full functionality.

Compatibility Testing

We provide comprehensive analysis of specific substrates, surface characteristics, and manufacturing and application requirements. We conduct adhesion testing to test the compatibility of the adhesive to specific substrates, ensuring the best methods of bonding are recommended.

Mechanical Testing

Products are tested to destruction, analysing the mode of failure and bond strength characteristics. Procedures are designed to test tensile strength, shear strength, flexural strength to ASTM standards, as well as testing the mode of failure and optimum strength of the adhesive in particular customer applications.

Environmental Testing

We conduct QUV accelerated weathering testing, reproducing damage caused by high heat, moisture etc. enabling us to review the effect of prolonged external exposure, and its impact on adhesive performance. This ensures our adhesives are fit for purpose to withstand the harshest environments.
